Broadway Educational Alliance is a private non-profit organization that serves the theatre, performing arts and live entertainment industries by acting as a source for the development, management and distribution of exciting and informative multi-media based arts curriculum for schools across the nation. The organization will create and maintain a digital library of audio and video content provided by producing companies, arts organizations, advertising agencies, private collectors, estates and other rights holders. In addition to producing and distributing theatre arts related content, the Broadway Educational Alliance will also:

• Promote use of the library and its content to school administrators and educators
  
  
• Develop standards for distance learning programming in the arts
  
  
• Advocate for innovations in the use of new media technologies in the arts industries
  
  
• Seek project funding from public and private foundations
  
  
• Conduct equipment training workshops for teachers
  
  
• Educate the media about the program
  
  
• Educate rights holders and union leaders about the benefits of new distribution channels for theatrical content
  
  
• Represent the interests of the live entertainment and performing arts industries to corporate America
